Waist Beads FAQ

  1. How do I know my waist beads' size?
  • Use a flexible measuring tape.
  • Measure around your waist where you intend to wear the beads (typically below the belly button).
  • Ensure the tape is snug but not too tight.
  • Relax your stomach muscles while measuring.
  • Our traditional tie-on beads are crafted with non-stretch cotton thread. They are designed to be one size fits most, with an average length of 51 inches. These beads comfortably accommodate waist sizes up to US size 20.
  1. Can I take of my waist beads?

  • If you want the option to remove your beads, consider our beads with clasps or screws. They are available in a range of sizes: 30.5", 32.5", 34.5", 36.5", and 38.5”.

  1. How do beads assist with weight loss?
  • While waist beads are not a direct weight loss tool, they can serve as a visual and tactile reminder of body changes, which some people find motivating for their weight management goals.
  • When you lose weight, the waist beads may shift position or become looser, providing a visual indicator of progress; and as you gain, you will notice the beads push up.
  1. How many waist beads should I wear?
  • Traditionally, three beads are worn at once. But don't worry, many people start with just two to play around with colors and see what they like. You can wear as many as you're comfortable with – some people even wear up to thirty.
